Botanical Name: Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen'Native Region/Environment: Australia Sun/Light: Morning sun otherwise bright, indirect light. The white variegation cannot handle bright, direct light and will scorch. Temperature: Houseplant, plant will suffer and possibly die below 50 degrees; Outdoors: USDA Zone 11-12. Water: Allow the top 2"-3" to dry between watering, moist but never soggy. Soil: Organically rich, porous soil composition. Growth Pattern: Perennial vine, showy variegation of creamy whites and green hues on heart shaped glossy leaves. Ideal for hanging baskets or trailing pot location. Some leaves will be splotched, dabbled, striped or have patches of either white or green. Mature Size: Individual vines can easily exceed 10'. Attributes: Easy care, resilient,, cutting root very easily. Pruning will encourage fuller appearance otherwise it will grow long and lanky. 'Marble Queen' is an optical delight. Devil's Ivy and Marble Queen pothos, are common names for Epipremnum aureum 'Marble Queen'. Some refer to them as Ep. pinnatum-and that is incorrect and causes confusion.
Each leaf presents and entirely unique variegation pattern. A versatile and showy specimen plant. Makes an extraordinarily excellent house plant on a table or in a hanging basket with their cascading vines. Pruning will encourage fuller growth.
All species of Epipremnum are known as good house companions as they filter harmful VOC's, like formaldehyde, benzene and others, from their environment.
This plant may have a degree of toxicity that may cause illness or discomfort if ingested. It is grown and sold for Ornamental purposes and not intended as a food nor fodder. Additionally, contact with the sap of this plant may cause irritation or discomfort.
