Botanical Name: Hoya australis "lisa'

Native Region/Environment: SE Asia

Sun/Light: Bright indirect light or mild direct morning light.

Water:  Allow top of soil to feel dry to the touch.  Does not tolerate an irregular watering schedule well or long dry periods.

Soil:  Porous, well draining fertile soil.

Mature Size:  Vines can grow 10' but more likely 3-4' on a moss pole or trellis.

Attributes:  Mottled variegated leaves in whites, creams, greens and pinks provide the ideal backdrop for the compact umbels of white with red corona flowers.  The flowers have an aroma of vanilla and chocolate.  H. Lisa is considered somewhat difficult to find.

Small root systems relative to potential plant size.  Low maintenance.  Very long lasting blooms. Do not remove peduncles (flower stalks) after blooming-hoya rebloom from the same peduncles which will increase in length after each successive bloom.

Attractor:  Flowers are laden with abundant sweet nectar that attract hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and moths.

Pot:  4"
