Botanical Name: Hoya bilobataFormerly named Hoya panchoiNative Region/Environment: Philippines Sun/Light: Bright indirect light or mild direct morning light. Temperature: Ideal temperatures are between 60 and 90F. Water: Allow top of soil to dry to touch. Do not overwater or leave in standing water. Soil: Porous, well draining fertile soil. Growth Pattern: Small, moderate growing, trailing evergreen perennial. Mature Size: Small oval leaves that emerge in pink hues then progressively turn to different shades of green depending upon light conditions. Vines can reach up to 3' or slightly more. The individual flowers are tiny at about 1/8" or less, and are an attractive red. Ideal as a compact grower in a hanging basket. Attributes: Small root systems relative to potential plant size. Low maintenance. Very long lasting blooms. Do not remove peduncles (flower stalks) after blooming-hoya rebloom from the same peduncles which will increase in length after each successive bloom. Attractor: Flowers are laden with abundant sweet nectar that attract hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and moths. Pot: 4" |
