Botanical Name: Hoya latifolia albomarginata (reclassified)

Previously known as Hoya macrophylla variegata

Native Region/Environment: Borneo

Sun/Light: Bright indirect light or mild direct morning light.

Temperature:  Ideal temperatures are between 60 and 85F.

Water:  Allow top of soil to feel dry to the touch.  To avoid root rot avoid leaving in standing water.

Soil:  Porous, well draining fertile soil.

Growth Pattern:  Climbing evergreen perennial vine best suited for a trellis or moss pole.

Mature Size:  The vines will reach lengths of around 3'. Occasional pruning will result in a fuller plant.

Attributes:  As the name implies, the succulent leaves are white on the outer margin that will turn redder with increased sunlight exposure.  The blossoms are richly fragrant.

Small root systems relative to potential plant size.  Low maintenance.  Very long lasting blooms. Do not remove peduncles (flower stalks) after blooming-hoya rebloom from the same peduncles which will increase in length after each successive bloom.

Attractor:  Flowers are laden with abundant sweet nectar that attract hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and moths.

Pot:  4"

Please note that hoyas are notoriously challenging to identify.  We identified each plant with care to the best of our knowledge and research, as well as based off the representations from our suppliers.  Refunds or replacements are not offered on hoya purchases.
