Botanical Name: Hoya priktai

Native Region/Environment: Thailand

Sun/Light: Bright indirect light or mild direct morning light.

Temperature:  Ideal temperatures are between 60 and 80F.

Water:  Allow top of soil to barely feel dry to the touch.  Does not tolerate an irregular watering schedule well or long dry periods.

Soil:  Porous, well draining fertile soil.

Growth Pattern:  Trailing evergreen perennial vine.

Mature Size:  Vines can grow to several feet long.

Attributes:  H. Priktai is not commonly available, and is different from a close relative called Hoya 'Elephant'.  The brighter the light the more pronounced the deep green leaf veins appear then a pink hue can develop too.  The flowers are a custard color with a soft pink.

Small root systems relative to potential plant size.  Low maintenance.  Very long lasting blooms. Do not remove peduncles (flower stalks) after blooming-hoya rebloom from the same peduncles which will increase in length after each successive bloom.

Attractor:  Flowers are laden with abundant sweet nectar that attract hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and moths.
