Botanical Name: Hoya wayetti

Native Region/Environment: Philippines, 

Sun/Light: Partial sun, bright, indirect or direct morning light.

Temperature:  Ideal temperatures are between 60 and 80F.

Water:  Allow top of soil to dry to the touch.  Prone to root rot in standing water.

Soil:  Porous, well draining fertile soil.

Growth Pattern:  Trailing and twining evergreen perennial vine.

Mature Size:  Trailing vines of around 3' length.

Attributes: Long slender, moderately succulent leaves, that develop a redder leaf edge with increased direct sunlight as opposed to creamy whit and cream mid leaf.  H. Wayetti has a trailing habit so hanging basket or elevated pot for best results.

Small root systems relative to potential plant size.  Low maintenance.  Very long lasting blooms. Do not remove peduncles (flower stalks) after blooming-hoya rebloom from the same peduncles which will increase in length after each successive bloom.

Attractor:  Flowers are laden with abundant sweet nectar that attract hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and moths.
