Coralbush or Coral Plant, Jatropha multifida has been introduced extensively worldwide for it's ornamental value. The coral red blooms are exotic and common in corsages. The lacy leaves are very decorative and showy with the tops a rich green and a whiter underside which flashes in a breeze.

Jatropha multifida goes by another name, Guatemala Rhubarb, which is very misleading and dangerous since all parts of the plant are extremely toxic if ingested.

All part are extremely poisonous if ingested and the sap can be a skin irritant.
