Botanical Name: Epipremnum aureum 'Shangri La'Native Region/Environment: Cultivar from Japan Sun/Light: Bright, indirect light or the mild morning direct sunlight. Temperature: Houseplant temperatures above 55-60 degrees; outdoors, USDA Zone 10b-12 Water: Moist, but not wet. Let the soil top dry between watering and avoid standing water. Soil: Fast draining, fertile soil. Growth Pattern: Tropical perennial climbing vine of very distinctive glossy, heart shaped leaves that can be trained to climb, trail or creep. Vines can lose older leaves, which is normal, and therefore benefit from periodic pruning and propagation to maintain a fuller expression. Mature Size: 'Shangri-La can climb to around 5' on a trellis or moss pole. Attributes: Stunning foliage that does not disappoint. Predominantly emerald green leaves with yellow and golden variegations on extremely unique leaves that resemble steamed spinach, but firm.
