Botanical Name: Scindapsus pictus 'Silver Cloud' variegated

Native Region/Environment:  Bangladesh and Malaysia

Sun/Light:  Bright, indirect light or early morning direct sunlight.

Temperature:  Ideal temperature range is 50F to 95F.

Water:  Water when the top of the soil is fully dry to the touch.  Not recommended to overwater nor leave in standing water to prevent root rot.  Able to communicate it is thirsty by curling leaves somewhat.

Soil:  A loose, porous and fertile composition.

Growth Pattern:  Can grow either as a trailing or climbing evergreen perennial vine that is versatile to a moss pole, trellis, elevated pot or hanging basket.

Mature Size:  As a house plant vines can reach 3' whereas in it's native habitat vines can grow to 10'.

Attributes: Similar to the deep Hunter Green underlying the leaves of Scindapsus 'Exotica' except Scindapsus 'Silver Cloud's metallic silver almost fully blots out the green.  If growing on a moss pole it may 'shingle' it's leaves where they press down and lie flat tight against the pole.  The leaves become increasingly rigid with maturity.

Pot:  3.5 or 4"

Scindapsus are often called Silver Pothos which unfortunately adds to confusion unnecessarily as they are not in the Epipremnum genus, though they are related.
