Botanical Name: Syngonium podophyllum 'albo variegatum'Native Region/Environment: A cultivar from the Syngonium podophyllum native to Central and South American rain forests, Sun/Light: Bright, indirect light. The areas of white variegation have no chlorophyl and cannot photosynthesize sunlight so will burn. Avoid direct light except early morning light. Temperature: Temperatures should not dip below 50 degrees and should not exceed 95 degrees Water: Water 1-2 per week as needed to maintain moist, but not soggy conditions Soil: Organically rich, porous composition. Responds better to fully moistened soil and less frequent watering than incomplete watering more frequently. Growth Pattern: Trailing and climbing perennial vine that benefits from a climbing pole Mature Size: Depending on climbing structure but able to reach 6' tall, and 2'-3' wide, whereas in the wild a vine may grow over 20' long. Attributes: Extremely showy and highly sought after. Provided with the correct growing conditions and it is also a low maintenance. Every leaf pattern of variegations is unique. If by chance a branch reverts to a solid green, with no variegation, simply remove it and allow for a new vine to replace it.
