Botanical Name: Syngonium podophyllum 'Three Kings'

Native Region/Environment: Tropical forests of Central America to northern Brazil.

Sun/Light: Morning direct sun exposure is the best with afternoon indirect light to maintain the best variegation.  The leaves are thin and papery so excessive direct light will cause leaf burn and will more rapidly dry the soil.

Temperature: Indoor houseplant 50F to 95F; Outdoor USDA Hardiness Zones 10-12

Water: Prefers consistent moisture, but never soggy,  Misting helps replicate its native growing environment.

Soil: Organically rich, porous composition.  Responds better to fully moistened soil and less frequent watering than incomplete watering more often.

Growth Pattern: A tender perennial ornamental vine that is a vigorous climber, growing to 65' in the wild.  Domestically, it will require a growing support and responds very well to pruning.

Mature Size: As a ground cover it is approximately 6"-8" high but the vines grow aerial roots at the leaf nodes and therefore can grow very long.  As a trailing climber 5'-7' high on a support structure and 2'-3' wide.  In a hanging basket the vines can easily trail over 8'.

Attributes: A gorgeous arrowhead vine sought for the arrow shaped leaves of whites and various shades of greens, creams and occasionally white in a variegated pattern.  Whites become more prominent with age.

Pot: 3.5" or 4"
